SCRIB3D P1 Highlights

What ages is this pen recommended for?

The SCRIB3D P1 is recommended for ages 14+ due to the high temperature of the nozzle when extruding filament. The pen temperature can be adjusted from 160°C to 210°C.
What size filament does the pen need?

The SCRIB3D P1 uses 1.75 mm filament spools. The pen set comes with PLA filament, and works with most standard 3D Printer 1.75mm filament.
Is there any setup involved?

No setup or special tools required. Simply plug the adapter into the back of the pen, set the temperature by choosing the filament type and clicking the forward button, wait for the pen to warm up then add filament to begin creating.
What type of battery or charging cable does the pen require?

P1 does not operate on a battery - it must be plugged in to operate. It comes with a 3.5 mm barrel DC power adapter and requires a consistent 5V and 2A to run correctly. You can use a power bank or portable charger with 5V, 2A for on the go.
Can I change the color of the filament midway through a spool?

Yes! The SCRIB3D P1 has forward and backward buttons, so you can reverse filament out of the pen to change colors. Make sure to always snip the ends of the reversed filament before reinserting it into the pen.
