The motor may stop because a child has pressed down too hard, triggering the motor’s thermal overload protection. The motor will automatically pause when excessive force is applied, and it will resume running as soon as the pressure is released.

Prepare water, set wheel to max speed. Wet hands & soften clay with sponge. If wheel slows or sticks, don't force—return to max speed, keep wetting & gently shape.
